This was an interesting find for two reasons.
1) I don't mind the fact that a momma is proud of her baby. However, I feel bad for her other kids (if she has them) and I hope the other family cars have license plates such as ANASMOM or TIMSMOM. It would only be fair.
2) My husband roomed with a guy named Ben in college. His poor mom was the brunt of almost all jokes. Basically a good go-to punch line was "Ben's Mom". In Keene, NH there is a Pumpkin Festival each October. While walking the crowded side streets where everyone parks - we found this gem. We of course took a picture, so that will probably be featured in October.
Like you know of an insecure relationship when you see the plate with a guy's name looking similar to: [Blank]'S-GRL.
ReplyDeletePLEASE...
Break up if it's that bad!!!
Thats as bad as a tattoo of someone. If youre not married dont commit to something that permanent. However, when you live in a state where custom plates are so easily accessible then I guess you can change it with each relationship
ReplyDeleteHMMMM Erin! So I am a punchline eh?? Yes, this is the ACTUAL "BENS MOM" you are referring to in your blog. :) silly girl... I'd love to here some of those jokes and by the way - I wish I had read this an hour sooner as "BEN" just left here and he would have been the "PUNCH" if he was still here!! ;)
ReplyDeleteHaha, the other good go-to line was Chris' mom. Just so you know, Brenda, Chris' mom was a "sea cow" so you were the better of the two! :) Having met the actual Ben's mom...we all love you! You are pretty much one of the coolest mom's around.
ReplyDeleteaw shucks.... (blush)... I love all you guys too. You are the best "kids" in the world any "mom" could ask for! ;) hope to see you soon - I hear you are traveling and will be visiting that grandson of mine. Have a great time! Hope to see you soon.
